Welcome to KAI – Where Kindness Meets Community!
At Kindness and Intervention (KAI), we believe in unlocking potential, one step at a time. Our passion? Helping children and teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other behavioral challenges thrive through fun, engaging, and effective ABA therapy—all in the comfort of home!
Our Story
KAI was founded by Janae J. Miller, BCBA, whose inspiration comes from her younger sister, Kai, diagnosed with ASD in 2012. Watching her sister’s journey sparked a lifelong mission to make a difference in the Autism community.
Janae earned her B.S. in Neuroscience from Georgia State University (Cum Laude, 2016) and later her Master’s in Behavior Analysis from Simmons University (Summa Cum Laude, 2020). Along the way, she saw two big gaps:
1️⃣ A lack of African American representation in ABA
2️⃣ The need for consistency across home, school, and community
So, she created KAI—a place where kids learn, grow, and succeed with a team that truly cares.
What We Do
We provide fun, research-backed, and results-driven ABA therapy for kids and teens with:
✅ Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
✅ Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
✅ Other behavioral disorders
We specialize in early intervention (18 months – 12 years) while also working with teens (13 – 18 years) to build confidence and independence.
